Rosaly is the president and attorney at Chaviano Law Firm, P.A. She represents clients in the areas of business and family immigration law, removal proceedings, consular processing, and naturalization.
Rosaly was born in Santa Clara, Cuba. She came to the United States through the diversity visa lottery. Rosaly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Florida International University (magna cum laude). Rosaly earned her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law, where she received the Faculty Recognition Award, the Excellence in Service to the Carlos A. Costa Immigration and Human Rights Clinic Award, and the Pro Bono Service Award. While at Florida International University College of Law, Rosaly interned for Catholic Legal Services and Carlos A. Costa Immigration and Human Rights Clinic, where she represented detained and non-detained clients in immigration court proceedings, conducted research, and drafted briefs and motions. Rosaly also interned for the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA) at the Krome Detention Center, where she assisted the trial attorneys during master and individual hearings, conducted research, and drafted motions.
Rosaly has worked as an immigration attorney for more than 6 years. She worked as an associate attorney for Fonte Friz-Garcia Immigration for more than 3 years, where she represented clients in the areas of business and family immigration.
Rosaly is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), where she is serving as a board member, Chair of the CBP-Border Patrol Committee, and Chair of the Luncheons Committee. She is also volunteering as a member of the New Member Division Committee. Moreover, she is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association (CABA) and the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA).
Rosaly is fluent in English and Spanish.
